Celab Four:C Announcer
Information display with Tetra support
A display connected to Tetra for receiving emergencies and with the possibility to present information from internet or intranet.
Four:C Announcer enables incoming emergency call information to be presented instantly on several locations within the organisation. The setup is cost-efficient since it only requires a browser and internet connection. Between emergencies the screen can switch between local traffic reports, weather forecasts, calendars and/or optional web pages (url).
The service will be offered as a subscription per user and year. This includes support and, perhaps most importantly, continuous improvement of the service. A login can be used on one screen at a time and controls which information and with which intervals information is to be shown.
The service is a development on our previous “garage display” with the same name and is designed to be easier to implement and maintain as well as to offer increased accessibility. The cloud platform is also adapted for mission-critical applications through an architecture without single-point-of-failures.
Celab receives emergencies from SOS via RAKEL. The emergency is "decoded" and automatically forwarded over the internet to authorised recipients/users, depending on "location code". Between emergencies the service can display local traffic information, weather forecasts, calendars and/or optional webbsites (URL). Via the drop-down menu users can configure what and how the information should be displayed.
Four:C Announcer is primarily a cloud service but can be installed locally for organisations that don't want, can't or are'nt allowed to use such services.

Efficiency and security was key when Smurfit Kappa Piteå were searching for a new communication system. The solution was found surprisingly close.
When Jämtkraft had trouble with outdoor coverage RAKEL was the obvious solution. But to solve the coverage indoors, completely different tactics where necessary.
A proven combination of the Swedish national TETRA network and Celab Operator Platform provides streamlined communications, a less stressful working environment and above all improved safety.
