About Motorola Dimetra Express
By integrating all parts of the infrastructure in the same unit, Motorola has created a complete TETRA system that can be deployed in fifteen minutes. After connecting a power supply and antenna, the solution is configured easily and intuitively via a web interface. The interface also includes a simple Dispatching solution to manage communication from an Android or Windows device. Through the web portal there is also a system health monitor available.
Out-of-the-box Dimetra Express is a single-site solution supporting a thousand users but multiple base stations can be connected to create several sites with a larger coverage area. Dimetra Express supports all types of communications, including talk group communications, individual calls, SDS and so on. Even the possibility to make external calls via VoIP is available in the solutions. The system can be deployed with one or three carriers allowing for 3-11 simultaneous calls or data transfers.
The solution was constructed primarily to be mobile and/or used temporarily, meaning it was developed to be mounted in a vehicle for quick response or placed in a shed during major construction projects.
